Deniz Goss,PA-C

“My #1 goal is to take great care of people. Nothing less.”

Deniz Goss holds regular clinic hours at the Spine Center, where her responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies as well as prescribing and monitoring treatment modalities. In addition, she assists her husband, Dr. David Goss, during surgery.

Deniz has always been intrigued by medicine. As a child she would bring a list of questions to ask during her pediatrician appointments. As a young woman, she furthered that interest with a degree in Biopsychology at the University of California – Santa Barbara. But it was as a college lacrosse coach that she found her true calling, when her team’s doctor handed her an application for the school’s new PA program.

Today Deniz is an essential member of the SMOC team. Her responsibilities at the Spine Center include evaluating and managing various spine related disorders for patients suffering from a range of acute and work related injuries to chronic degenerative conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
